Students Bear Witness to Factory Farming Cruelty

In order to raise awareness on World Farm Animals Day, MFA volunteers exposed hundreds of students at DePaul and Loyola Universities in Chicago and Hunter College in New York to the shocking reality of modern animal agriculture.

Partnering with student animal rights groups, including the DePaul Vegan Demons, the Loyola Vegetarian and Vegan Society, and the Hunter Animal Rights Team, MFA volunteers set up “Paid-Per-View” booths at each university and challenged students to watch a 4-minute clip of Farm to Fridge, MFA’s new hard-hitting documentary about the cruelty inherent in raising and killing animals for food.
