Inspiring Compassion with New MFA Pro-Veg Billboards in Denver

Denver, Colorado, is now home to ten new eye-catching MFA pro-veg billboards, sparking discussion and urging commuters to choose compassion over cruelty at each meal by adopting a vegetarian diet. The thought-provoking advertisements feature an adorable puppy and a loveable piglet sitting side-by-side and ask, “Why love one but eat the other?”

Running until the end of February, these powerful ads aim to open the hearts and minds of viewers and inspire compassionate citizens to widen their circle of compassion and include all animals by choosing vegetarianism.

While all 50 states afford dogs and cats legal protection from abuse and neglect, animals on factory farms have little to no legal protection in most states. If meat producers subjected dogs and cats to the standard abuses inflicted on farmed animals, such as extreme confinement, mutilations without painkillers, and a violent slaughter, they’d likely be jailed on grounds of cruelty to animals. Yet farmed animals are every bit as capable of experiencing pain, suffering, joy and other emotions as the dogs and cats so many of us know and love.

MFA has run similar pro-vegetarian billboard and transit ad campaigns nationwide. Click here to show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to create future ads.
