MFA activists hit the streets in full force this month, bringing their message of social justice for all to five major cities and their annual gay pride parades. In Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, New York and Chicago, activists marched behind a striking banner bearing the MFA logo and the message, "No one is free when others are oppressed."

Combined, volunteers from all five parades distributed over 10,000 pieces of literature - both the "Why love one but eat the other?" and "Vegetarian Eating: Healthy, Humane and Sustainable" brochures. MFA had over 100 marchers total, many waving large MFA logo flags and rainbow pride flags.

This was MFA's fifth year marching in pride parades, and as in years past, the crowd response was overwhelmingly positive.
